In addition, he routinely hosts the Austin Poetry Slam, he was the Austin Poetry Slam Champion a couple times, got second at the Individual World Poetry Slam once, founded the Killeen Poetry Slam, got second in the nation with their team one year and has also coached Austin's youth poetry slam team.
